White Sea Bass or White Weakfish is a specimen found from Bahía Magdalena, Baja California to Juneau, Alaska. Its body is elongate and somewhat compressed, pointed head, blue-gray with dark spots on the top, becoming silver on the bottom. The White Bass is caught mainly with live bait and also with artificial squid in relatively shallow water.
